The first time you boot your Chromebook, you will launch a guided setup program. It is very straightforward, but we have some tips to help you get the most Out of your Dell system.
Before you turn on your Chromebook, we recommend plugging in its charger In case the battery has lost its charge. You will also need a wireless network in range to set up your device. If your wifi is password-protected, make sure you have your password on hand.
The first screen will allow you to choose your system's language, Keyboard layout, and your wifi network. Click the dropdown arrow and select your wireless network. If your network is password-protected, you will be asked to enter your password After your selection.
Read through the Terms of Service in the next window, And proceed if you agree to them. The next screen will ask you to enter your Google account information. Keep in mind, this Google account will be registered as the owner account And will have all administrator privileges.
If you do not have a Google account, you can click Create a Google Account On the left to make one. Your Google account will be used to store documents and other data to your online Google Drive, Set your profile picture, and more. It is highly recommended that you create a Google account If you do not have one already.
