An actual faulted drive can be identified by an amber fault LED on the drive carrier. Press on the drive’s latch button to release the latch, and slowly pull the drive about one inch from its slot. Wait 30 seconds for the drive to stop spinning, and then remove it.
The part number for the drive is located here. Align the replacement drive with the guides in the slot. With the drive latch open, gently push the drive into the slot. Push the handle down to engage the latch.
