In this video we will see how to download all the system-specific software and drivers for your Dell PC using My Dell Downloads. Once you log onto Dell.com/support, click My Account at the top right corner of the page. If you are a first time user, click Create an Account and sign up.
Sign in with your credentials. Click Download Factory Installed Software (My Dell Downloads) on your account page. If you are a first time user, you will be prompter to Register Your System. Select the check box to agree to the terms and conditions. Now click Register System.
Allow the computer to download and install the Service Tag scanning utility. The utility scans your computer for the Service Tag and registers your system. You will now get a complete list of software specific to your system. Select the appropriate check boxes and click Download Now.
If this is the first time you are using, allow the computer to download and install the Download Manager. The software setup files will be automatically downloaded to My Dell Downloads, located in the My Documents folder.
Please note that the number of downloads for all software is limited, so make sure you save the downloaded files to external storage media, such as a DVD or pen drive. You can also download system-specific drivers from this page.
Click the Drivers and Utilities link. Type in the Service Tag or Express Service Code of your Dell and click Submit. Now you can download all the relevant drivers.
