How to Replace the WWAN Card for a Latitude 5440

To remove the wireless module on the Latitude 5440, identify the WWAN card highlighted in blue. Lift the card shield off the card and remove the screws that secure the card bracket. Remove the bracket that secures the WWAN antenna cables and disconnect the antenna cables from the card. Move the WWAN card from the connector on the system board. To reconnect the card, identify the WWAN location highlighted in blue. Insert the card into the connector on the system board, connect the black cable to the auxiliary and the white cable to the main. Install the bracket to secure the antenna cables and secure the WWAN card bracket with the screw. Align and place the WWAN card shield over the card.
