Some of your files or settings may not get migrated due to network or unknown issues. But you can retry migrating them again to your Dell PC. In this video, we will demonstrate how to retry migrating the files and settings that were not migrated successfully. Dell migrate is a paid service available only for the Inspiron, Inspiron G Series, XPS, and Alienware PCs in certain regions.

In this video, we will demonstrate how you can retry migration of the files or settings that did not migrate successfully. Dell Migrate enables you to migrate files and settings from any PC running the Windows operating system to a Dell PC. For steps to pair your PCs, see the video titled Getting started with Dell Migrate. During migration, some of the files and settings may not get successfully migrated to the new PC.
The number of files or settings that did not get migrated is displayed on the summary page. Click Show skipped files or hover over the tile and click View details. Review and select the files that you want to migrate and then click Retry to repeat the process. After the migration is complete, the migration summary is displayed.
Note, the migration summary includes information about all the files and settings that are migrated during all your attempts. Click Finish and click Tell us how we did to provide your feedback about your experience with Dell Migrate.
