YOU CAN SET TIME LIMITS TO CONTROL WHEN CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED TO LOG ONTO THE COMPUTER. TO SET TIME LIMITS ON YOUR KID'S COMPUTER USE, CLICK THE START BUTTON AND THEN TYPE PARENTAL CONTROLS IN THE SEARCH BOX.
CLICK PARENTAL CONTROLS. IF YOUR PROMPTED FOR ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD OR CONFIRMATION, TYPE THE PASSWORD OR PROVIDE CONFIRMATION. CLICK THE ACCOUNT THAT YOU WANT TO SET TIME LIMITS FOR. MAKE SURE THAT PARENTAL CONTROLS ARE TURNED ON FOR THAT ACCOUNT. AND THEN CLICK TIME LIMITS.
IN THE GRID, CLICK AND DRAG ACROSS THE HOURS THAT YOU WANT TO BLOCK OR ALLOW. HOURS THAT ARE COLORED BLUE ARE BLOCKED AND HOURS THAT ARE COLORED WHITE ARE ALLOWED.
CLICK OK AND THEN CLICK OK AGAIN. IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE LOGGED ON WHEN THEIR ALLOTTED TIME ENDS, THEY'LL BE AUTOMATICALLY LOGGED OFF.
