Dell Support when traveling internationally

Dell Services are available all around the world and offers the security of knowing you can receive service and support when you travel with your Dell product outside your home country.

International Travel Support is available to you when you are traveling outside of your home country for a period of less than six (6) months. International Travel Support is subject to local availability of parts and labor. Country specific parts such as keyboards are not typically available outside your home country.

For support during international travel, go to the Contact Technical Support page and select the location where you are staying using the country selector at the top right-hand side of the page. Enter your Service Tag or Express Service Code and choose International Support to access phone options for the traveling location. Note that if a particular Dell system is not sold in that location, support will not be available until you return home.

Please note customers with Alienware, Inspiron, Dell, Dell Plus, Dell Premium, G-Series and XPS systems, including peripherals and monitors with a Basic Hardware Service Warranty, may have limited International Travel Support when traveling outside the original country of purchase. Any limitations will be communicated to you when contacting Technical Support.   

Attention: Alienware customers who require International Warranty Services in mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao) must provide the following documents to receive the repair service: Proof of purchase such as purchase receipt, official order, delivery note, sales memo, or invoice; and proof of a purchaser who is traveling (passport with a valid visa to or from the country where the product was purchased).

Attention Latin America customers:  Please note customers with Alienware, Inspiron, Dell, Dell Plus, Dell Premium, G-Series, XPS systems, peripherals and monitors with a Basic Hardware Service Warranty, purchased in countries outside of Latin America are eligible for online / phone-based support, but are not eligible for any parts and labor repair services that may be necessary until the system returns to its home country in Latin America.  Customers traveling to Brazil receive 90 days of International Travel Support from date of invoice regardless of the country where the system was purchased.
