How To Install iDRAC Ports Card for PowerEdge R530

This video will demonstrate installation procedure of an iDRAC Ports Card for PowerEdge R530.

Prerequisites
Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
If applicable, disconnect the cables from expansion card (s).
Remove the expansion card riser.
NOTE: If applicable, close the expansion card latch on the cooling shroud to release the full length card.
Remove the cooling shroud.
Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.

Removing the iDRAC ports card:
Disconnect the management network cable from the iDRAC port.
Loosen the two screws securing the iDRAC ports card holder to the system board.
Pull the iDRAC ports card up and toward the front of the system to disengage it from the connector and remove the card from the chassis.

Installing the iDRAC ports card:
Align and insert the tabs on the iDRAC ports card on the slots on the chassis wall.
Insert the iDRAC ports card into the connector on the system board.
Tighten the screws to secure the iDRAC ports card.
