Resolution

  1. Log in with dellsupport to Dell Security Management Server Virtual.
    Log in to Dell Security Management Server Virtual
    Note:
    • The default credentials for Dell Security Management Server Virtual are:
      • Username: dellsupport
      • Password: dellsupport
    • An administrator can change the default password within the product’s virtual appliance menu.
    • If logged in to the Administration Console, press ALT + Q to exit to the login screen.
  2. Type sudo nano /etc/opt/dell/console/application.properties and then press Enter.
    Type sudo nano /etc/opt/dell/console/application.properties
  3. Scroll down to disconnected.mode= using the arrow keys.
    Scroll to disconnected.mode=
  4. At disconnected.mode=, delete True and type true.
    Update to true
  5. Press Type CTRL + X to exit. On prompt to save, press Y to continue.
    Exit
  6. Press Enter to save the file without changing the name.
    Save the file
  7. Type sudo nano /opt/dell/server/security-server/conf/application.properties and then press Enter.
    Type sudo nano /opt/dell/server/security-server/conf/application.properties
  8. Scroll down to disconnected.mode= using the arrow keys.
    Scroll to disconnected.mode=
  9. At disconnected.mode=, delete True and type true.
    Update to true
  10. Press CTRL + X to exit. On prompt to save, press Y to continue.
    Exit
  11. Press Enter to save the file without changing the name.
    Save file
  12. Type exit and then press Enter.
    Type exit
