IDT Audio issues after Windows 10 upgrade
You may find that the sound is suddenly not working from your speakers or built- microphone after upgrading to Windows 10 (i.e. you cannot hear anything coming out from your computer but you can still see the bar of the sound jumping up and down). A yellow exclamation mark may also be present when viewing the status in Device Manager - High Definition Audio Controller.
Using the normal Windows Update tool to rectify this issue may return the error - IDT Audio Device IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Error 0x8007001f
