When André Willekens points out the most important trends in these sectors, he goes back in time. “The digitization of the Belgian government started in 2015, when the Digital Belgium 2020 plan was launched. It consisted of five pillars which were to support the country’s digital transition, specifically Digital Infrastructure, Digital Public Authorities, Security and Trusted Environment, Economy and Skills.” For Andre Willekens, the results of these plans are visible everywhere.
