The displays come optimized for Microsoft® Lync®, allowing users to make voice and video calls through the computer to Lync users, create and join pre-planned or on-the-fly meetings, and improve online presentations with screen-sharing and virtual whiteboards. Participate in project discussions by video conferencing direct from your desk: you’ll see and hear your fellow participants with remarkable clarity, enjoying 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution across an ultra-wide 178 degree/178 degree viewing angle with built-in echo cancellation.
These features are meticulously designed to enhance the way you work with colleagues both near and far. And since workers have become increasingly mobile, our monitors are compatible with numerous personal PCs, tablets and accessories. To that end, the new monitors boast DisplayPort, VGA and USB 3.0 ports. Or, users can directly hook up their smartphone or tablet to the HDMI (MHL) port to view the content on a larger screen.
Clarity, speed and convenience are fundamental to boosting productivity. Yet in addition to hitting this personal achievement trifecta, we’re excited that the Dell UltraSharp UZ2715H, UZ2315H and UZ2215H Multimedia Monitors will do more for interpersonal collaboration as well. Power it up, press the front-facing ‘Hook’ button optimized for Lync, and the walls of your cubicle or office will seem just as limitless as your creativity. The 23” and 27” displays are currently available in China and the 21.5” will follow on May 7; all three will be available worldwide by early June.
