Today was a great day.  The weather was uncharacteristically warm in New York city. There were open skies.  And happy New Yorkers crowded around #DellVenue a pop-up creative workspace full of our latest Dell Venue tablets and XPS laptops.  In a room full of 80+ press and analysts, Dell’s own Sam Burd and Neil Hand unveiled the new product families that were enhanced and refreshed based off your valuable customer feedback.

Our flagship XPS 13 was refreshed and now has a big brother – the XPS 15 with awesome power and 500 thousand more pixels than retina display. Our award-winning XPS line just keeps getting better!

Dell Venue

The biggest news of the day is the full family of #DellVenue tablets featuring the Venue 7 and 8 Android tablets and Venue 8 and 11 Pro with Windows 8.1. Ok, I’ll admit that cool, powerful gadgets sometimes blur the lines between work and play…which is why the Dell Venue tablets pretty much “had me at hello.” I think analyst Rob Enderle of the  Enderle Group described it best –  Dell’s tablets are “damned ***.”

Technology needs to meet us where we are in meaningful ways – whether we’re “on the go” and need to stay connected, or we’re needing a device that can meet all our needs – the Venue 11 Pro is just that. And with Dell’s growing line of accessories such as the Active Stylus and all our keyboards, docking stations and covers, we are truly helping customers work in ways that are natural for them, and for us.

What’s most important for Dell is that our innovation is showcased through the voice of our customers.  Customers like David Crain, Chief Information Officer at Southern Illinois University, who helped his university roll out Dell tablets to all of the 2017 future graduates.   The Class of 2017 undergraduates now has access to all of their learning & university resources with the tablets at all time.  Learn more about this story and you will understand what keeps us motivated to continue innovating at Dell.
