David Warke
Business Development Manager, Healthcare, Dell OEM
David Warke is Business Development Manager at Dell EMC OEM in the EMEA region, where he leads the organisation’s growing healthcare vertical business.
With over 25-years’ IT industry experience in senior finance, marketing and sales roles, David works with a wide spectrum of healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceutical companies that are at the forefront of developing and building innovative healthcare solutions that are transforming the industry.
In 1992, he started a six-year career with HP as Financial Operations Manager before moving to Lexmark International, where he was responsible for managing the company’s defence business in the UK. David first joined Dell in May 2006 as Sales Manager and enjoyed a series of promotions during a seven-year tenure before his appointment to the role of Global Account Manager. He then spent a five-year period with HPE working in strategy & planning before returning to Dell EMC OEM in January 2018. Throughout his career, David has built a reputation for developing successful business strategies and helping customers to improve efficiencies and achieve cost savings.
David is passionate about the difference IT technology can make to healthcare and believes it has the potential to better engage patients, deliver faster diagnoses and facilitate breakthrough treatments.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Natal, South Africa and has a professional qualification in accounting (CIMA). He has lived and worked in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa and Zimbabwe. He currently lives near Reading with his wife and family.
