I have been saying for a while now that data is the heart of any business. There are all different types of data, databases, user data, sales data, Big Data, virtual machine data and the list goes on. Storing and managing all this data has become challenging. As this infographic* below points out, it is becoming more and more complex.

Many IT Administrators feel that today’s storage is a drag on innovation, and have a hard time quantifying the impact of storage on their overall IT strategy. Others try to find the time to be proactive and optimize their storage infrastructure but instead can barely keep their head above water. Still others are looking for innovative solutions that will make the biggest difference and are willing to try new solutions.
Back in July at the Dell Storage Forum 2012 Boston, we announced the Dell EqualLogic Blade Array, the PS-M4110. I got a first-hand look at this new and innovative storage solution at the event and could not wait to get one (or more) in the Dell TechCenter lab.
The wait is over! Starting today , the Dell EqualLogic Blade Arrays begin shipping, offering you all the simplicity and scalability you have come to love and enjoy, but available within a compact Dell blade chassis. If you combine this with our PowerEdge servers, Force10 and PowerConnect switches in a single blade enclosure, you can manage and streamline your operations so you have time to spend on what matters to you, like asynchronized swimming.
