Bob DeCrescenzo is Vice President and General Manager of the VMAX Business Unit responsible for all aspects of the business. As GM of the VMAX business he is responsible for the overall P&L and delivery of storage solutions to meet customer and partner needs worldwide. Prior to taking this position DeCrescenzo was Vice President of the VMAX Software Engineering inside the VMAX and Mainframe Business Unit. In this role, he led an organization responsible for architecture, design and development of award-winning VMAX. DeCrescenzo has over 25 years of deep technical engineering and product development experience in the storage and information technology industry. He began his career as in software development and has held various roles throughout his career, including Systems Engineering, Director of Software Infrastructure Development, Program Director and Senior Director of Software Development. DeCrescenzo drove and led product development of 4 generations of storage platforms and over 35 major software releases for EMC’s Enterprise Storage System.
