Distinguished Engineer, Unstructured and Secondary Storage
Arun Murti is a Distinguished Engineer in the Unstructured and Secondary Storage group of Dell Technologies. He is a Lead Architect for the PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance, the Chief Architect for PowerProtect DP series appliances, and the Manageability Architect for Secondary Storage products including PowerProtect DD. In his roles, Arun influences technical strategy and drives Agile architecture for Integrated Data Protection Appliances, on-premise and Cloud Management and Orchestration, Observability and Telemetry, and more.
Arun is a 17-year Dell Technologies veteran with prior roles including Chief Architect for Avamar and various product engineering responsibilities. He has been awarded 16 patents and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
