Norby aimed to maximize human potential with an AI robot companion for language and speech learners. As many individuals struggle to learn languages using traditional methods, Norby, the clever little language robot, is tailored to each user’s specific needs and preferences, creating a more engaging learning experience.
Solution
Leveraging Dell Technologies Precision AI-Ready workstations equipped with NVIDIA RTX™ GPUs, an innovative language robot was developed and deployed. Dell provided the AI credentials to power large language models and accelerate the program and hardware design needed to create this clever little robot.
Impact
The speed and reliability of Dell Precision workstations have enabled Norby to expand from supporting 20 languages to having the capability to teach more than 40, with additional languages set to be added regularly. Models that previously ran overnight are now completed within an hour, allowing Norby to quickly continue iterating.
