The Dell PartnerDirect Program is kicking off Dell’s Fiscal Year 2016 (beginning Feb. 1, 2015) with some exciting news for partners as it continues to build on the momentum of FY2015. During 2014 the program experienced tremendous growth thanks to our valued channel partners, with the channel accounting for over 40 percent of Dell’s global revenue. Now that the new fiscal year is officially in full swing, Dell is ready to pick up where we ended FY15 by announcing some new channel perks for partners of all levels in North America.
Key among them is an extension of discounts previously only available to our 1,500+ Premier and Preferred Partners in North America. The following discounts are now available to over 45,000 Registered Partners:
- Up to 20% additional discount on Dell Compellent™, EqualLogic™, and PowerVault™
- Up to 20% additional discount on Dell Networking
- Up to 13% additional discount on Dell PowerEdge™ servers, including VRTX
- 5% incremental discount on Dell Precision™, Latitude™, OptiPlex™, and XPS
We also created new incentives for our Premier and Preferred Partners that include the following backend rebates:
- Incremental 2% on Client products, including OptiPlex, Latitude, and Precision
- Incremental 4% on Servers, Storage, and Networking
In addition, we understand it’s not always easy to stand out in the marketplace so to help our Premier Partners in the PartnerDirect program, we are offering up to $40,000 in marketing development funds (MDF), based on sales volume, in Client and Enterprise lines of business. Partners at this level can now earn up to $20,000 in both Client and Enterprise MDF to be used in marketing services.
Finally, our Partner Reps in the U.S. are now eligible to receive a $250 (or $250 equivalent in points in Partner AdvantEdge program) new account bonus on all hardware and software products. In addition to partner reps being able to cash in points for luxury gifts, travel and such, last quarter we started offering “Cash Cards” in the Partner AdvantEdge program. Since then, we have seen more than triple the amount of engagement from partners in this program!
While we are outpacing the market by 3-4X, we will continue to innovate in how we take care of our channel partners so they can continue to take care of their customers. If partners have any questions about these new incentives or would like to learn more, please contact your Dell sales representative.
