Today the Catalyst organization recently announced a report entitled Women in Technology: Maximizing Talent, Minimizing Barrier. Dell was an advisor to the study. The full report is available here.
In 2003, Catalyst published Bit by Bit: Catalyst's Guide to Advancing Women in High Tech Companies, which revealed barriers facing women in the high tech industry. Fueled by these findings, Catalyst engaged Cisco, Dell, IBM and National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) to provide advice and support for a global survey to further understand the issues and provide concrete steps that companies can take to improve the advancement and talent management of women.
