As the new leader for Dell’s EMEA Broadline Distribution business, I’m excited that our channel business is outgrowing the market. For the channel model to continue growing, though, we need a solid distribution set-up to reach in the region.
That’s something we’ve been striving to build, and it’s why we are honoured to receive the prestigious Gold award from the Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC) for the first time. The award is a clear recognition of the work we have put in place to make distribution a core element of our channel go-to-market strategy in EMEA.

Over the last two years, Dell has been continuously investing in the expansion of its distribution business, optimising processes and IT to support distributors to serve their resellers with the entire Dell end-to-end portfolio. The recognition from this award supports us in our approach to further strengthen our distribution business and make it easier for our reseller community to work with Dell.
The GTDC awards recognise companies who have exceptional sales growth with European distributors as tracked by third party CONTEXT’s SalesWatch Distribution Panel.
“This year’s winners are among the most innovative and game-changing technology companies in the world,” said Tim Curran, CEO, GTDC. “Their amazing growth in Europe is yet another proof point that technology distribution is at the center of a global value chain, providing the best route to market for reaching partners and customers serving businesses of all sizes.”
The Gold award is another demonstration of Dell’s commitment to helping distributors grow their business with Dell. For further information on the awards, please visit the GTDC’s website.
