Dell Services Earns Top Honors in Datamonitor’s 2009 Top Healthcare ITO Vendors Survey

Recently, the results from the Datamonitor Black Book of Outsourcing 2009 Survey of Healthcare ITO vendors were released, and Dell Services has come out on top as the highest ranked in “Vendor Overall Preference” by the more than 500 healthcare providers who responded. This honor spotlights the great work our team is delivering day in and day out to create a positive impact on our customers’ businesses.

Black Book delivers the largest annual survey of outsourcing customers’ satisfaction with service providers and consultants, providing rankings that are based on client testimonials and feedback. Each service provider is evaluated by 18 key performance indicators.

In addition to being the top overall vendor, Dell Services ranked “Top Vendor by Function” in the areas of Applications Development and Maintenance, Revenue Cycle Management, and Clinical Data Initiatives. This shows our commitment to improve the business of health so our customers transform care. Additionally, we ensure they utilize the best in health IT to reduce medical errors within their organization.

We are both pleased and honored to be recognized as the top healthcare IT vendor by the Black Book survey, particularly given that the respondents are actual healthcare providers utilizing and interacting with our solutions each day. Earning and maintaining that trust is of the highest importance to Dell Services.

As the demand for healthcare transformation grows, we remain committed to helping hospitals, physicians and payers utilize technology to improve all phases of healthcare delivery, making it more reliable, secure, and affordable.
