Posted on behalf of Steve Davis, Product Marketing Manager for Dell Networking
Kicking off the day before the official start of Dell Enterprise Forum in Frankfurt, Dell Networking hosted a technical advisory board with key customers from across the EMEA region. This event brought together customers from a variety of backgrounds and cultures to meet with and provide candid feedback to Dell Networking management about challenges they face, and their experiences with Dell Networking products. Topics ranged from data center fabrics to campus end points, from network performance to management, and all points in between. This was the opportunity for customers to talk directly to the leaders of Dell Networking about what Dell is doing well, and what opportunities remain for further innovation. Among the more dynamic discussions was Dell’s flexible approach to SDN using Active Fabric Controller and recent announcements around Active Fabric Manager. Customers were not shy about sharing their concerns and pain points. Listening to customers in this way gives Dell Networking management unique insights that will translate into better, more customer centric products and services in the future.
