Daniel Cummins is a Dell Technologies Fellow/VP currently leading Dell’s Enterprise Edge technical strategy within its ISG business as the Chief Architect of NativeEdge. He has a strong track record of developing and delivering market changing technology and products. His most recent accomplishment was defining and driving the technical strategy and product architecture for NativeEdge. Prior to this he led the PowerStore product architecture and technical strategy from inception through product launch.
Daniel’s formal educational background is in Computer Science and Mathematics from Eastern Connecticut State University. Today he is a member of the University of New Hampshire Computer Science Industry Advisory Board. His professional experience includes systems design and development of defense systems for the DoD, embedded systems and OS development for portables PCs and home media products, Video on Demand storage and streaming systems, CDN and edge caching systems, and enterprise storage systems design.
