Giving children a voice to express their ideas, opinions and creativity is one of the most exciting effects of our global and highly technological society. In our Powering the Possible programs, we believe giving others the power to do more through a combination of Dell technology and solutions, resources and know-how is part of our corporate responsibility. That’s why I am so happy to support Adobe in our joint mission to empower youth from every corner of the world.
Dell is partnering with Adobe to help underserved youth learn digital media skills through the Adobe Youth Voices Aspire Awards initiative. The Adobe Youth Voices Aspire Awards has been an annual international juried media competition that recognizes projects that best illustrate the program’s ‘Create with Purpose’ philosophy. Winning submissions are original, high-quality youth-produced multimedia created to address critical issues and effect positive change.
The program welcomes global students ages 13 – 18 to compete in the following eight sub-categories: animation, documentary, music video, narrative video, poetry/experimental video, audio, graphic design and photography. Dell has contributed to the pool of prizes by donating forty-eight Dell XPS 15 laptops specifically designed for multi-media production.
Students and educators from around the world are encouraged to participate in this program. For Dell, we are promoting it through our learning recipients who use state-of-the-art Dell technology to close the technology gap.
Young people are the change makers of our world and the Adobe Youth Voices Aspire Awards helps to strengthen their voices by bringing their projects to a global audience. To learn more, please read Adobe’s blog post.
