Our customers have been asking for more choices to build their on-prem cloud solutions and we are excited to announce that we are now re-imagining Dell Technologies Cloud Platform (DTCP) to offer you more flexibility and better cloud economics.
Introducing DTCP Private Cloud
DTCP Private Cloud provides a simpler and scalable way for customers to build their cloud of choice with industry-leading virtualization from VMware (vSphere and vSAN). This new solution will serve as an essential building block to enable customers to build their own on-prem private cloud.
$25 Per Instance Per Month³
With the introduction of DTCP Private Cloud we are bringing down the price to $25 per instance per month.³ Offered with pre-defined instance blocks, time-to-value of 14 days and self-service experience via the Cloud Console, customers can get up and running at a lower price point and scale up with increased options for where they are in their cloud journey.
Bring Your Own Rack
This release also delivers the option for customers to provide their own rack infrastructure, in addition to the pre-built integrated rack offered for DTCP today. Customers have the flexibility to utilize their own rack space along with PDUs, data cables and third-party switches, seamlessly integrating the solution into their existing data center.
Instance-Based Offerings
As mentioned earlier, DTCP Private Cloud comes with all the same great features of our existing hybrid cloud offer. Late last year, we introduced instance-based offerings for DTCP Hybrid Cloud to simplify how our customers size and order cloud resources to build an on-prem hybrid cloud.
These instances can be ordered with a few clicks in a self-service manner via the Dell Technologies Cloud Console and deployed in your data center in as few as 14 days¹ or scaled up in as few as 5 days¹ making it the industry’s fastest hybrid cloud deployment.
Instances can be ordered in quantities of 25, 50, 100, 200, and 500. They can be added together to run a larger quantity of instances of the same type, or you can mix and match instance types to support multiple a variety of workloads within the same solution to meet your needs.
We made this easy for customers to consume these cloud offers a single monthly subscription price that includes all hardware, software, and services components, enabling them to get started with hybrid cloud for as low as $47 per instance per month.²
And we are not stopping there. With DTCP Private Cloud, customers now have more flexibility and choice than before to get their applications up and running with speed and simplicity.
We’re excited to bring this new DTCP offer initially to customers based in US, UK, France and Germany.
