Vivek Mohindra leads Dell’s Modern Computing Solutions Group within CSG. MCSG was formed at the beginning of 2021 with a goal of modernizing the client (PC and associated devices) journey and accelerating client aaS businesses. Vivek has served in various executive roles across Dell, as well as at McKinsey & Company (as a Partner in the High-Tech practice), Freescale Semiconductors (as SVP of Strategy & Business Transformation, responsible for the business turnaround and working on the IPO), TPG Capital (as Operating Group Partner with the Global Tech buyouts group) and New Science Ventures (leading tech investments for the $750M AUM VC Firm). Vivek received his bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee), and MBA and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He currently serves on the Advisory Council of Carnegie Mellon University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
