Today, we live in a highly globalized, technological economy where people around the world can easily connect and collaborate. How people learn is transforming from a sole focus on core subject knowledge to a blended learning environment combining formal classroom with online learning that focuses on an application of knowledge. Learning now happens everywhere – at home, at school and in the community. All enabled through technology. We believe we have an obligation to help those without access to technology or the skills to use it effectively gain that access and learning.
Dell YouthConnect, our global signature giving program, prepares young people for success in life, school and work through information and communications technology. We want them to imagine the opportunities they never believed possible – to become possible.
Dell YouthConnect currently operates in 8 countries, and we’re excited to now bring this program to the United States.
We want to prepare young people for success personally and professionally through information and communications technology. Access to these tools — and knowing how to use them — provides new opportunities. That’s why we are looking for innovative learning and technology-driven programs to help us fulfill this vision.
How to apply ?
If you are a qualified registered 501(c)3 public charity and would like to apply to be part of Dell YouthConnect, present a program that focuses on the following:
Preparing youth for success in a highly globalized, technological society at school, work and life through the development of information and communication technology (ICT) skills.

An effective Dell YouthConnect program should encompass:
- Access: Getting Dell technology/solutions into the hands of the most needy. Any Dell technology, solution or service may be used. Strong consideration will be provided to organizations who request more than half of their funding for Dell technology.
- Learning: Providing opportunities to learn and acquire ICT skills. ICT skills are defined as:
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Innovation and creativity
- Communication and collaboration
- Technology literacy
