Dell’s IT Organization Recognized in InformationWeek Elite 100

InformationWeek Elite 100 logoEach year InformationWeek honors the top IT organizations in the U.S., and this year, Dell’s IT organization, under the leadership of Adriana “Andi” Karaboutis, was selected as one of the choice organizations in the InformationWeek Elite 100 for paving the way for a new, efficient, agile IT model focused on innovation and bringing value to Dell’s customers and business.

Traditionally, InformationWeek has honored 500 of the leading IT organizations, but this year the publication narrowed the select list even further with the InformationWeek Elite 100, which awards organizations whose technology strategies and practices have gained national recognition for their business technology team, and are seen by customers, investors and business partners as a technology innovator.

Dell was honored with this recognition for its creation and implementation of the Marketing Analytics Workbench (MAW), a self-service, big-data analytics and business intelligence platform built in partnership by Dell IT and marketing that allows our marketing team to build prescriptive analytics models that inform decision making. These models accelerate time in gathering customer insights, which Dell’s marketing team uses to reach our customers with tailored and useful information related to their business needs. The MAW enables our IT and business teams together to better serve our customers’ business needs.

We’re excited to see Dell recognized by one of the IT industry’s foremost publications and privileged to share in this recognition with the IT professionals behind MAW, an innovation that truly embodies Dell’s pioneering and collaborative spirit. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and InformationWeek for distinguishing Dell as technology innovator and counting Dell among the IT elite.

Please join me in congratulating Andi and her team on this accomplishment and thanking them for their dedication to innovation and their commitment to Dell’s customer experience!
