The mission of the Dell Software Group (DSG) is to provide solutions to help our customers address the increasingly complex challenges they are facing as they seek to take advantage of new technologies like Cloud computing, Mobile Devices and Big Data, in a secure, but easy to use way.
One key challenge that our customers are facing is the proliferation of systems and devices and the lack of a unified solutions to manage them. Today we’re excited to announce a limited release of the Dell KACE K3000 Mobile Management Appliance to help customers manage corporate and personal tablets and smartphones, as a simple extension of established PC management policies.
Over the past few years, Dell has fine-tuned its strategy of acquiring market leading technologies, nurturing them, and building new solutions for customers through a portfolio of increasingly Dell-owned products. KACE is a classic example of a company with a disruptive value proposition growing multifold within Dell to offer great value to new and existing customers. The K3000 along with the recently announced Dell Cloud Client Manager will form the Dell Mobile Management (DMM) solution – Dell’s answer to consumerization, BYOD and mobile management.
DMM offers mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) solutions along with a portfolio of complementary solutions that address mobile management needs of organizations of all sizes.
