Sam Marraccini Flashy at the Citrix SummitEMC was a Gold Sponsor of this year’s Citrix Partner Summit 2014. The Gold Sponsorship brought with it a prime location in the Exhibitor Hall and conversations with hundreds of EMC/Citrix Partners. Of course Flash was a big topic, specifically Flash for End User Compute. EMCs primary focus was enabling our joint partners to successfully deploy virtual environments designed to deliver unique customer requirements regardless of scale.

EMC VSPEX End User Computing is designed to enable faster VDI deployments with increased flexibility and efficiency while reducing deployment risk. EMC Partners are able to choose the network, server and hypervisor to go along with EMC storage and backup infrastructure to deliver full customer solutions. Those solutions, based on scale and performance requirements may include Flash technologies at both the storage and compute layers of the converged architecture.

In addition to EMC VSPEX, our joint partners were eager to review the latest XtremIO information. The reception was overwhelming including a standing room only Breakout Session. Details on XtremIO, VDI Bliss including a better user experience, lower cost and easier administration can be found here http://xtremio.com/VDI

Of course, I had my video gear with me; Inside Flash Episode #15 is below.
