Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is always a big event for us at Dell, but this year it’s an even bigger one because of our recent acquisition of Wyse! You’ll be seeing double with both our Dell PartnerDirect, booth 637, and our Dell Wyse, booth 531, on the floor this year.
The Dell PartnerDirect booth will showcase Dell products and help partners build their knowledge. The Dell Wyse booth will feature desktop and application virtualization software, Dell Wyse WSM, the newest zero client for Microsoft, Dell Wyse E00, as well as the Dell Wyse Z90D7 featuring Microsoft RemoteFX and Windows Embedded Standard 7P. The Dell Wyse booth will also be the main location for all of our theater presentations. A full schedule of activities is listed below.
While Dell and Microsoft have been strategic alliance partners for over 25 years and each year continue to offer customers innovative and feature-rich solutions, Dell’s channel partner programs are relatively new.
In just 4-5 short years, our PartnerDirect program has grown to be available in 148 countries with more than 100,000 partners worldwide. PartnerDirect was listed in the 2012 CRN Partner Program Guide with a 5 Star Rating. In China, we were given a “Best Channel” award; and we were recently named Hardware Vendor of the Year at the European IT Excellence Awards 2012!
We are very excited about the opportunities for more award-winning solutions that Wyse brings to our partners, too. Dell Wyse has a strong channel network and channel leaders that will help us take the very best of their existing channel programs and combine it with our PartnerDirect program to make it easier for our partners to work with us.
WPC gives us a great opportunity to meet face to face. Visit both the Dell PartnerDirect booth 637 and the Dell Wyse booth 531 to learn more about the best-of-breed desktop virtualization technologies and solutions that have resulted from the combination of Dell and Wyse.
