SXSW is all about experiencing, expressing and sharing your passion areas. The combination of music, film, technology and education coming together in Austin contributes to an atmosphere that has made SXSW an experience unlike any other and an ideal place to connect with the most passionate group of people we know – gamers!
Whether you’re a casual gamer or die-hard competitor, SXSW ScreenBurn is the place to be in Austin from March 9th – 11th. ScreenBurn is a free activity to the public and brings the excitement of the video game industry to the mix of SXSW at the Palmer Events Center.
Attendees can experience the latest games and technology in the industry, watch professional gaming tournaments among the fiercest top gaming teams, participate in workshops, listen to panel presentations, see product demos, and of course, score swag and win amazing prizes throughout the three days. The best part is that your favorite PC gaming brand, Alienware, is a premier sponsor and will have a huge presence on the show floor.
The Alienware booth at the ScreenBurn Arcade will be featuring some of the latest new and pre-release games on Alienware’s complete product line. There will be 16 competition stations featuring the award-winning Alienware X51 gaming desktop. Additional gaming stations including Alienware’s most powerful gaming desktop ever, Aurora, and its industry-leading mobile gaming laptops like the M18x, M17x R3 and M14x will be available for immersive and unforgettable gameplay. Beyond the screen, be sure to enter our X51 sweepstakes by participating in any of our competitions and pick up an Alienware t-shirt to flaunt your gaming cred.
After a full day of exploring, don’t forget to join us for some drinks and a bit of relaxation at the Copa Bar & Grill on March 9th from 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. All SXSW Interactive badge holders are welcome and will have a chance to listen to live music performances, participate in our Digital Graffitti wall and play Blacklight Retribution, a pre-release title from Perfect World Entertainment, on the Alienware Aurora gaming desktops.
Feel free to follow the conversation on Twitter using hashtag #ALIENWARESXSW and #DellSXSW to get real-time updates. We hope you can join Alienware in Austin at SXSW. Let the games begin!
