ISTE 2011 – Unlocking Potential

It’s hard to believe that it’s already late June and ISTE is here!

There are so many exciting things happening in and around
Philadelphia this year – it’s going to be harder than ever to schedule your
time (and stick to your original plans).

We will (of course) be checking out EduBloggerCon and
are excited to see how many new attendees and friendly veterans will be there. This
unconference is the place where you can ask question, share your own tips and
knowledge and get to know other educators who are looking to collaborate about
social media and Web 2.0.

On the show floor we will feature The Connected Classroom
booth and The Connected Infrastructure in ISTE’s Tech Infrastructure Pavilion and
give you an opportunity to learn more about the solutions and services that
enable classrooms and schools to unlock their potential.

We are excited to showcase two Spotlight Sessions at the
show featuring our very own Adam Garry and the ever-innovating Alan November.
Attendees will also hear from our very own Bob Moore, Donna Boivin and Martin
Yarborough during sessions in the ISTE Tech Infrastructure Pavilion.

Dell is also sponsoring TEDxPhiladelphia
ED
which is at the Wharton School on Saturday, June 25. John Hunter will be
speaking live and attendees will get a sneak peek at his newest film entitled World Peace
& Other 4th Grade Achievements.
Watch John’s first speech from TED2011below – it’s one of the
most-viewed TED videos of all time!

Be sure to check out the Hive for a first-hand look at Dell’s
social media command center – mobile style! Come check it out on the third
floor of the convention center.

We are also thrilled to unveil a social media playbook for
teachers at any stage in their social journey. Open Book is a handbook for educators to apply and share with their
peers. Stop by the Dell booth or the HIVE to pick up a hard copy.

With so many events happening all around Philly, we’re bound
the bump into each other during the week. Please stop by, say hello and pick up
a copy of Open Book!

See you soon! Safe and happy travels to the City of
Brotherly Love!!
