Congratulations to VCE’s Mario Forziati, who was recently named to CRN’s “100 People You Don’t Know, But Should” List. Mario began working with VCE in July 2013 as part of the investor alliances team and moved into a new role in January 2014 as a director of channels covering the U.S. east coast and Canada. He brings with him many years of industry experience, including 15 years in Cisco’s channels organization where he was one of the first channel account managers.

Many VCE partners who regularly interact with Mario can attest to his extensive experience and expertise in his position. He has strengthened these partnerships and helped lead VCE to become a major channel player in the United States and Canada. He has earned the respect of colleagues and peers and has a reputation as the “Mayor of the North End”– being a go-to guy for anyone who needs a restaurant recommendation in Boston.
Forziati was selected by the CRN editorial team based on feedback throughout the year from solution providers and industry executives. CRN believes that while the IT industry tends to illuminate its top executives, it is important to recognize those who are working hard in the channel and contributing to the success of the industry.
According to a statement from CRN CEO Robert Faletra, this list is CRN’s way of recognizing “some of the people that are in the trenches, working hard on behalf of the IT channel every day and making decisions that help tip the scales toward channel success.”
This award is well deserved and goes to show that hard work does not go unnoticed.
