如何安装PowerPath - Unix篇

介绍
EMC PowerPath是一个安装在服务器上用来增强性能和应用可用性的软件解决方案。PowerPath将多路径I/O功能、自动负载平衡和路径故障切换功能集成于一身，支持连接到EMC Symmetrix、EMC CLARiiON、EMC Celerra、Hitachi Data Systems (HDS)、IBM Enterprise Storage Server 和Hewlett-Packard 网络存储系统的服务器或集群。
本文将介绍如何在各操作系统中安装PowerPath软件的方法。

安装PowerPath前需要先下载PowerPath安装包，可以通过下面的路径从support.emc.com网站下载：主页 > 下载 > 查找产品 "PowerPath"。建议在下载前阅读PowerPath的Release Notes以确认该版本所支持的主机和存储系统。
AIX系统:
1 用Telnet工具登录至AIX主机。
2 进入PowerPath安装包所在的目录，解压缩PowerPath安装包：
# gunzipEMCPower.AIX.5.5.0.3.GA.tar.gz
# tar xvf EMCPower.AIX5.5.0.3.GA.tar
3 使用installp命令安装组件：
# installp –agXd. EMCpower
4 使用powermt config命令执行一些管理配置：
# powermt config
5 使用PowerPath注册工具注册授权许可：
# emcpreg –install
6 确认产品注册信息：
# powermt check_registration
7 使用SMIT工具配置PowerPath设备：
# smitty powerpath
8 退出SMIT后，PowerPath就已安装并完成配置。
9 现在安装PowerPath Viewer组件，进入PowerPath Viewer下载目录：
# gunzipEMCPower.MgmtComponent.AIX.5.5.b006.tar.gz
# tar -xvfEMCPower.MgmtComponent.AIX.5.5.b006.tar
10 使用installp命令安装组件：
# installp –agXd. EMCpower.MgmtComponent
11 打开编辑器完成配置：
# /etc/emc/bin/emcp_mond_edit
12 默认Management Component是被禁用的，要启用它输入1。
13 保存并激活更改的设定输入13。
14 选择选项1保存配置，重启进程并退出。全部安装完成。
HP-UX系统：
1 用Telnet工具登录至HP-UX主机。
2 进入PowerPath安装包所在的目录，解压缩PowerPath安装包：
# gunzipEMCPower.HPUX.PI.5.1.2.GA.b113.tar.gz
3 使用swinstall命令安装PowerPath：
# swinstall –x autoreboot=true –x mount_all_filesystems=false –s /software/PowerPath/ EMCPower.HPUX.PI.5.1.SP2.GA.b113.tar EMCpower
注1：请设定绝对路径。
注2：由于设定了autoreboot=true的参数，在PowerPath安装完成后主机将重启。
4 使用PowerPath注册工具注册授权许可：
# emcpreg –install
5 确认产品注册信息：
# powermt check_registration
6 配置PowerPath设备：
# powermt config
7 显示PowerPath设备属性：
# powermt display
8 显示所有PowerPath设备的属性，PowerPath已安装并完成配置：
# powermt display dev=all
9 现在安装PowerPath Viewer组件，进入PowerPath Viewer下载目录：
# gunzipEMCPower.MgmtComponent.HPUX.PI.5.1.SP2.b007. tar.gz
10 使用swinstall命令安装组件：
# swinstall –x autoreboot=true –x mount_all_filesystems=false –s /software/PowerPath/ EMCPower.MgmtComponent.HPUX.PI.5.1.SP2.b007.tar EMCpower_MgmtComponent_patch
11 打开编辑器完成配置：
# /etc/emc/bin/emcp_mond_edit
12 选择选项1启用服务。
13 选择选项6退出并应用更改。
14 选择选项1保存设置，重启进程并退出。全部安装完成。
Solaris系统：
1 用Telnet工具登录至Solaris主机。
2 使用format命令标记磁盘，在安装PowerPath前这是必需的步骤：
# format
3 选择第一个存储磁盘，这些存储磁盘通过WWN来区分：
Specify disk (enter its number): #
4 选定磁盘后进行标记：
Disk not labeled. Label it now? Y
5 重复以上步骤标记所有的存储磁盘：
format> disk
6 退出format：
format> quit
7 进入PowerPath安装包所在的目录，解压缩PowerPath安装包：
# gunzipEMCPower.SOLARIS.5.3.0.GA.b473.tar.gz
# tar xvfEMCPower.SOLARIS.5.3.0.GA.b473.tar
8 使用pkgadd命令安装组件：
# pkgadd –d .
9 当被询问选择的包时，选择EMC PowerPath：
Select the package(s) you wish to process (or ‘all’ to process all packages). (default: all) [?,??,q]: all
10 使用PowerPath注册工具注册授权许可：
# emcpreg –install
11 确认产品注册信息：
# powermt check_registration
12 保存设定：
# powermt save
13 配置PowerPath设备：
# powermt config
14 显示PowerPath设备属性：
# powermt display
15 显示所有PowerPath设备的属性，PowerPath已安装并完成配置：
# powermt display dev=all
16 现在安装PowerPath Viewer组件，进入PowerPath Viewer下载目录：
# gunzipEMCPower.MgmtComponent.SOLARIS.5.3.bxxx.tar. gz | tar -xvf -
17 安装Management Component组件包：
# pkgadd -d .EMCPower.MgmtComponent
18 打开编辑器完成配置：
# /etc/emc/bin/emcp_mond_edit
19 选择选项1启用服务。
20 选择选项13退出并应用更改。
21 选择选项1保存设置，重启进程并退出。全部安装完成。
