解压EMC Backup & Recovery Manager密码
我在网站上下载了EMC Backup & Recovery Manager 两个文件，我在解压的时候提示输入密码。看网站的提示说需要向销售申请密码，是这样的么？
还有，从网站上下载下来的文件是.bin文件，我能否直接重命名.bin为zip？
下面是support.emc.com关于这个软件下载的说明。没有明白cat这个命令如何用。
EMC Backup & Recovery Manager allows monitoring of Backups, Alerts and Systems across multiple Avamar grids, NetWorker datazones and Data Domain systems from a simple dashboard based UI. Filtering, intelligent grouping and search capabilities make it easy to find information quickly. Backup & Recovery Manager must be ordered. The zip file is password protected and the password will be provided as part of the order fulfillment process. Please contact your EMC BRS sales representative. Because of system size limitations, the distribution has been split into two parts. Once all the parts (part00, part01) are downloaded and placed in the same directory, then the parts can be combined as follows: To reassemble the complete zip file, execute this command on a Linux system (e.g utility node): cat BackupRecoveryManager.part*.bin > BackupRecoveryManager.zip Once the above command is completed, verify that the md5sum on the assembled zip file matches that for the complete zip file. MD5 Checksum of complete zip file = a36141d83a0f759cff9edae537680582

首先下载：
BackupRecoveryManager.part00.bin:

BackupRecoveryManager.part01.bin
https://download.emc.com/downloads/DL45701_Backup_&_Recovery_Manager_1.0_zip_file_part_01.zip
然后解压：
1.Download the BackupRecoveryManager.part00.bin and BackupRecoveryManager.part01.bin files from the EMC Support web site to a Linux (e.g Avamar utility node) or UNIX server.
2.Place the BackupRecoveryManager.part00.bin and BackupRecoveryManager.part01.bin in the same directory.
3.Run the following command: cat BackupRecoveryManager.part*.bin > BackupRecoveryManager.zip
4.Run the md5sum against the reassembled zip file: md5sum BackupRecoveryManager.zip
5.The md5sum output should reflect a36141d83a0f759cff9edae537680582
6.Extract the BackupRecoveryManager.zip with the password provided by the EMC Sales representative

1、解压密码需要向BRS团队申请。（因为目前这是第一个版本，可能提供试用也可能收费，见这个讨论https://community.emc.com/thread/175513）
2、cat命令要安装标准格式使用，不能直接改zip相当于用cat创建新文件。最后应该是一个VMware Application(vAPP)的形式。

license一个是启用码，一个是授权码。
Backup & Recovery Manager是EMC 刚推出的备份恢复任务监控软件。

Backup&Recovery Manager是一个纯粹的管理软件，方便用户在一个界面里面管理avamar、networker和DD。

所有的功能都是备份软件自己的。
networker的license，一般是按capacity算，一个是enabler，一个是具体的容量限制。

不好意思，你说的这个NetWorker 1TB许可我无法获得并测试，也没有这方面的详细信息，或许你可以咨询下销售人员。EMC Backup & Recovery Manager是一个监控软件，主要用于监控NetWorker、Avamar、Data Domain备份任务的，可装也可不装。如果你已经下载了安装文件，可以尝试用解压密码emcbrm来解压它。

有个问题，如果客户购买了1TB的Networker许可后，当到激活这个许可，系统会自动生成2个可用许可，和一个EMC Backup & Recovery Manager 软件的东西，提示EMC Backup & Recovery Manager 这个软件让自己去下载什么的。没搞明白。
所以我想先自己下载下来试一试，但看EMC Backup & Recovery Manager 到底是一个什么样的软件。
