NMM supports granular level recovery so that you can restore individual items from within an Exchange 2010 database or DAG, such as individual user mailboxes, mailbox folders, and messages. Individual folders can be browsed and selected from the restored data, and then restored to the individual’s mailbox.

使用NMM 2.3或NMM 2.4可以对NetWorker 7.6.2或以上版本及8.0或以上版本实现granular recovery of Mailbox, folder, or e-mail。

最新的NMM版本是NMM 2.4 SP1。由于设计方式的改进，使用NMM 2.4来做granular level recovery比NMM 2.3更快。

可以说这个颗粒恢复功能和NetWorker本身的版本是8.0还是7.6关系不大，这个功能是由NMM (NetWorker Module for Microsoft Applications)来提供的。
