Why do I have to use Waves MaxxAudio Pro
So I got an inspiron 13 7391 2 in 1. Love it, it's easy and pleasant to use, except that it comes with that g*rbage software, Waves MaxxAudio Pro.
It's awful visually (looks like it's from the stone age) + adds a dreadful reverb effect to my music. But if I uninstall or disable it, I can't switch between loudspeakers and headset without restarting my PC. Also it prevents me from using the jack output in asio4all (useful for DAW software), so I have no decent audio in Ableton Live.
WHY DELL. Why even the cheapest netbook can switch between sound outputs without the need of software like yours ? Is this what paying 800 bucks gets you ?
Any help would be appreciated if some people managed to sort this out.

I totally agree that cheapest netbooks do not need such a damned software and why Dell force to use it.
Sometimes Dell laptops need it sometimes not.
I placed it in the start process procedure of my Inspiron and do not mind about it. I don't have any reverb or sound effect....

It’s a pretty subtle reverb effect that isn’t present when I remove MaxxAudio Pro. I tried disabling any audio “enhancements” I could from the app but the effect remains.
No computer needs a damned Stone Age software to switch between audio outputs. There are built Windows system options for this. I mean at least apple macs don’t require you to install a ton of these programs — it’s all included in the system already. Most of PCs actually work this way as well.
so why dell
