Unable to post in any forums - what have I missed
hi,
I've never posted in the Dell community forums before, though we have had an account for some years. I have just tried entering into several forums to make a posting and I'm getting the same issue in all of them except this one. In all of the forums when I click on the link to ask a question it displays a message saying I am trying to acess an area which is read only.
Do I need to request access to each forum or is there something I have to do to gain access?
It pretty certain I've missed something somewhere but I've been searching for a while now and can't find anything which indicates how to do this.
Any ideas?

Any idea how I do any of these things?
- your account needs to be verified or activated by a moderator
- your account is not associated with the correct permissions level
- contact the Dell community support to check and fix the issue with your account.
This might seem obvious, but the main page of the forums has a link to join the community, which, if I click it, simply refreshes the page. The register link still appears even though it shows me as being logged in.
There are no links to request access, contact moderators, request verification.
