Buying Laptop in USA for use in UK

Hello all, I am planning to buy an Alienware laptop in USA and use it in UK, however one thing that concerns me is will the warranty be valid in UK? Laptop comes with basic manufacturers warranty. Seller is TigerDirect. Please give some answers, thank you!
