About me

Sometime in September 1995 I wrote my first sql statement retraining in relational database design at Columbia University. By 2000 I co-authored an Oracle Press book on the then new 8i release -- Java anyone! Hopping from Oracle DBA job to DBA job until 2000 when I settled in with Oracle Consulting initially with a metro New York financial services DBA team, then on to Oracle Advanced Technology Services. Lots of RAC, DR solutions, and performance tuning. My final client with Oracle Consulting was EMC where I acted as an Oracle SME supporting their Commercial Sales Teams.
