<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">Retired director (and electrical engineer) from a $45 billion IT global manufacturer who figured out when to get out… while the getting was good.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">Built my first PC in 1979; cut my teeth on the Intel 8080 CPU and the OS was CPM.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes;">  </span>Those were the days! <span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"> </span>B Gates, go eat rocks!</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">Now owner (thank you Dell for the free XPS) of an XPS 730x H2C with Intel i7-965 CPU 3.2GHz (over clocking disabled), 3 GIG 1066MHZ RAM, Vista Ultimate 32-bit (with free upgrade to 64-bit), 2TB RAID 0 7200RPM HDD, 1TB 7200 RPM<span style="mso-spacerun:yes;">  </span>32MB Cash HDD, 6x Blue-Ray Burner w/double layer BD write, 16x DVD +/- RW, two Nvidia GTX 285 SLI, Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium PCIe, 56K Modem PCI, 19 in 1 Media Reader with Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and Dell Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. An XPS metal mini-suitcase with all of the tools and adaptors to work on the 730x.   And, finally three LCD 32" HD TVs connected to the two Nvidia cards and to cable TV.  Yes, a whole lot of desktop showing.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">The avatar is me and my Arrow (an English Pointer), the one in the tuxedo is me and the good looking one is Arrow.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">For those in the know, yes, it took great endurance on my part to get the Bluetooth to work.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes;">  </span>I refused Dell’s kind offer to replace the mother board, replace the Bluetooth hardware and cable and reloading the OS.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes;">  </span>Why include the product without the proper drivers, applications and firmware in the first place?<span style="mso-spacerun:yes;">  </span>Or, if at least they included a piece of paper telling one you’re on your own then, you know you are in the dark right from the start. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"> </span></span></span></p>
