About me

My name is Sean, Some people call me "House".. I am 36/W/M originally from New Orleans, La.. I have lived all over the Greater New Orleans Area. I've gotten around a small bit, I've also lived in: Flagstaff, Az; Jackson, Tn; Garfield/Paterson/Lodi, Nj and all across the Ms Gulf Coast. I intend to eventually end up in the mountains of NW Colorado or SW Brit. Col., Canada (ie. Vancouver area).

I have always been fascinated with "computers" and most other electronic/tech gadgets, tools etc.. I am 36 years old and began asking for a "pc" when I was in 6th Grade (the year was 1986 and it was an "Amiga 2000").. Well, once I was an *** and could finally afford one on my own is when I actually got one (yes, it was a Dell desktop and I got it in 2001).

I am a Chef by trade (poet/writer/pc freak by passion) but constantly looking for a way out of the kitchen and into a "computer chair". I am recently unemployed (as of July 16 2011) so I'd say NOW is a great time to find an "open door" to a new career. 6 car accidents and Hurricane Katrina all in the last 6 years has left my already arthritic/chronic back in MUCH worse shape. Standing through a shift of kitchen work has become quite uncomfortable and is compounding the already present disc degradation etc. So I guess my point is, I'm at a crossroads in life and I'm truly hoping the road I choose is positive and healthy (and has a job i can sit @my pc and do! lol).

I will update soon! Take care and I look forward to meeting any and every one while figuring out this lovely machine under my fingertips.

Now the fun stuff... lol. Not long ago (March), I (finally) decided to get my first laptop/notebook. I purchased a Dell XPS15 to step up and out of my Dell XPS 400 desktop (white and silver tower, purchased in October of 2005).

<span
