I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a bad power connection. The plug where the power cord enters the computer is loose, making the connection bad. I know the problem is NOT the cord or battery because they work with another laptop. I wonder if there is a inexpensive solution to this p

i need to restore my 5100 back to the way it was when i first got it, i know w/ the 9300 if Ctrl+F11 or something like that is pessed during bootup it will ask if you wanna restore, does the 5100 sport a system restore thing?

What I did was inserted my windows XP disc and then I had restarted and then I hit F8, but I don't think that's what I had wanted, that brought up a little menu of rebooting choices Message Edited by Stryka1 on 05-06-2005 03:52 PM

Ok, my i9300 arrived Tuesday. Kind of shocking as Dell says they only shipped it Monday - From Texas to California in one day? lol. Betcha they shipped Friday, 3 day and just never updated until Monday with the incorrect info. Oh well, no complaints here. Got it sooner than expected and that's
nice dude got my 9300 four days ago, just about the same specs as me u said it leaks, what is a leak?

when running games suhc as half-life 2 and splintercell chaos theory sometimes the game will crash and the screen turns blue and says ''windows has detected an error and will now shutdown, begining dump of memory'', i have the same problem w/ my desktop (not a dell), it must be nvidia related, is an
nope - no patches, i doubt game patches are hte problem anyways, all i know is sometimes when i play games it happens, i just got the craptop wednesday do u know the crash/blue screen im talking about? im sure you have seen it once
