XtremIO X1 Cluster is stoped - Critical Issue
Hi
I had out of support XtremIO X1 system, after BBU battery failure (right now i had one healthy BBU, and waiting the supplier to provide the second BBU's battery) until that the system state is down, which is critical issue
My missing thing to under stand is the following status, and it is in that status for 2 days
Also i can provide additional logs if needed
Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance

Hi,
Thanks for your questions about Xtremio. There are few things we can check, but it may require you to call in for out of warranty support. The battery being missing shouldn’t have caused the cluster to go down. https://dell.to/3FNi0Hz
What happens when you run the command start-cluster? What is the output of ShowXEnvs.out ShowStorageControllersInfo.out
And show-storage-controllers-dimm
?
Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi, Josh
First for all, thanks you for your support, and sorry for my late replay
As you refers to dell support, we considered this situation but it's kind of old system and the support cost nearly to get a new system also in my environment i had VNX and Unity, the only need right now that, an old system data is stored @ XtremIO, so the only need is to migrate that data to another SAN storage, that's the situation
Also bellow the output for the previous commands you refers to, can you check it, and if there's any troubleshoot commands you are welcome i can share it
Your help is appreciated, Thanks in advance

Hi, Josh
Yes, (invalid_in_cur_sys_state), check bellow
And also the same error for (stop-cluster)
This situation drive me crazy, I'm also think about any way to retrieve data from the disks it self,
my plan is to create an image for the Disks array and use RAID recovery software, this is a theoretical perspective, i not sure that will work, so if you have any suggestions about how to recover the data, I'm hope so

Hi,
That might be the best option. Were any of the cables disconnected? That could cause this state as well.
