XPS 9560 - how and where to buy a genuine replacement battery (GPM03) - Europe

Hi,

I live in Europe. My 3 years old XPS 9560's battery (GPM03, 97 Whr) is now at about 50% battery wear, so I am looking to replace it. However, the Dell store doesn't list replacement batteries. The ones I can find elsewhere are either shady replica or original but at exorbitant prices. The site is so confusing that I can't even understand how to contact someone now that my warranty is over... Any help?

Thanks

Genuine Dell batteries on that model are impossible to find since Dell stock has run out. Use yours until it dies then remove it and use the adapter alone. Not ideal to use the laptop as a desktop replacement, but it's a possible solution until you can buy a new computer. You were smart not to fall for scams online.

Dell doesn't consider the battery user-replaceable but will sell them.  You will need to call Dell and ask for "spare parts" to get a price on a replacement battery.  You'll need a Torx and Philips screwdriver, but the job isn't that difficult to undertake.

Thanks. I would find to ludicrous if indeed Dell cannot sell me an OEM battery for a 3 year old high-end laptop. I already have a desktop, I need it for work - don't need it as a paperweight
