XPS 15 9570, Wi-Fi 6 Intel AX211 compatible?

Hi,

Does anyone know if Wi-Fi 6 Intel AX211 is compatible for 2018 XPS 15 9570? If not compatible, what will be my next best option?

Of late, the Intel wifi cards with a 1 as the last digit have been CNVio -- they require a CPU your system does not have (you need a 10th generation CPU to be sure of CNVio support -- yours is eigth).

There is an AX210 card with the same feature set, but which does not require a CNVio CPU -- that one should work fine with your system.

Just letting everyone know for future reference that the Wi-Fi 6 Intel AX200 works perfectly in the XPS 15 9570.

Maybe a couple of more things.  Wi-Fi 6 is just an AX router and card.  If you want 6e (6GHz) you will need a card capable.  The AX211 and AX411 appear to need a 12th Gen processor to function, at all.

So, what card came in that system?  It looks like it might have a Killer card which would make that system compatible with an AX210.  If you have that card and Win 11 you should be able to get the 6 GHz frequency.  That being said, we are seeing systems that should be compatible which are not capable.

Hi. I'm thinking of doing the same thing - was the upgrade a success? Thanks!
