XPS 15-9570, keyboard skipping keys
Hi,
I saw the post about the XPS 13 9370 having this same issue. I'm also experiencing it with my XPS 15 9570. It looks like a BIOS update fixed it for that machine. Do we know when there will be an update for the 9570 o address this issue?

Bought my xps 9570 last month and have been experiencing this issue, hoping this fix comes out soon as I've dropped 2000 euros into what was meant to be the best laptop on the market

Hi,
I just got my new dell XPS 15 9570 and I am facing the similar issue with my keyboard. Is there any solution for this issue?
Thank you in advance!

That was one before the current one. The latest one came out just a week ago, and it has the Control Panel and panel self refresh option. I know, because I have it. It works. This driver is good for the new Windows October update, when it gets released again.
Here's the download link: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/28180/a08/win64_25.20.100.6323.exe
And the BIOS 1.6 with the keyboard fix (according to the latest post from Dell rep) is scheduled to be released very soon, in October.
And the previous Intel graphics driver (the one from Dell) with the Control panel worked just fine anyway...

I've disabled panel refresh on a 5530 (with all available updates), and still issue persists. However, this is only the case for some 5530s.
25 machines: no issues
5 machines: issue
Of THOSE 5, at least one still maintains stuttering keyboard and mouse after panel refresh disabled.

This does seem to be an intermittent issue on some machines! I would like to know what kicks it off. My laptop was OK to start with, but it developed the fault a month or two later, which suggests it is a software/firmware issue.

Yep, I'l just add to the chorus here to say I have the same problem, and it is really starting to bother me.

Has anyone tried the 1.5 BIOS update to see if they have cured the problem?
I cannot try it because I returned the laptop for a refund

What? I've been running with bios 1.5.0 (and all drivers updated) since the bios was released. I still have have severe keyboard skipping keys and mouse stuttering.
After a reboot everything is fine, then I disconnect the laptop from the TB16 dock, work on it for a while, then re-connect it to the TB16 dock. Now mouse and keyboard is unusable. I have to restart to fix it.
Please help.
