xps 15 (9560) Hard drive not installed!
Hi,
When I boot up the laptop it shows up a Hard drive not installed message, it dosn't show up in the BIOS neither, but every once in a while Windows 10 boots up with no problem, but at the time it ends up freezing with no BSOD error. It just freezes.
The few times the Hard drive is detected , the SupportAssist hardware check passes with no problem. I'm wondering if it's a Hard drive failure or it's something else.
I'll apriceate any help!
Thanks

Judging by the symptoms it sounds like a hardware problem. Try unplugging the hard drive first and then plug it back in. If that does not help then restart the system and at the Dell splash screen start tapping F12. Run full system diagnostics paying special attention to the hard drive test results.

First off, are you sure of the model number? Could it be an XPS 15 9560? It sounds like a hard drive that is failing. Run diagnostics from start. Restart the system and at the Dell splash screen start tapping F12. Run full system diagnostics paying special attention to the hard drive results. Post the results here in the forum.

I just saw that when the PC is able to boot into Windows, the disk usage is 100% before it freezes up completly. It's annoying I do not know if it's a software or a hardware issue!
I need help...
